Process

Life Productions, Inc. of Milwaukee, WI had an initial phone conversation with Gary Sievewright the Managing Director of Wachovia Securities Greater Milwaukee Market about producing a video project to attract potential financial advisors to their company. Before the preproduction meeting, Life Productions, Inc. was hired to go onsite to tape the Wachovia Hospitality event at the PGA US Championship Golf Tournament. Later that fall, Life Productions, Inc. of Milwaukee, WI arranged a meeting with Gary Sievewright and Paul Jackson, Senior Vice President Productivity Manager of Greater Milwaukee Market to outline the scope of the video project. They articulated their need for a marketing tool to recruit new financial advisors in this market. The video appeal needed to be short, driving, upbeat and relevant to the local market. Through supplied worksheets, Life Productions, Inc. helped them articulate their message, select interview candidates and create a timeline for project completion.

How Life Productions, Inc. Completed Project

Life Productions went onsite for one half day and taped three key interviews and footage of financial advisors working with clients in the workplace. Wachovia Securities provided archived video footage and still pictures from Wachovia Securities sponsored events, in addition to graphics of their logo. Once all footage was logged and captured, Life Productions began the edit process; first building an unscripted narrative from the collective voice of all interviewed. Then footage was added to support the sound bites. Finally, graphics were layered to give the video its finishing touch.

Life Productions presented to Wachovia Securities for review. After minor modifications were made to the video, the process of mastering and packaging the final draft of the video was put into action.
