Mike Mayer - President of Frank Mayer & Associates

“It isn’t very often that individuals outside of our company truly understand what contributed to our 75 years of success.   Tami Sweeney and Louise Berg of Life Productions Inc. went beyond our day-to-day business operations and creatively unveiled the many layers of Frank Mayer & Associates Inc.: Our history, our philosophy and our associates. In essence, Tami and Louise opened the door to those outside of our company, by telling our story.   The end product has become an invaluable tool to share with potential clients, new associates and business partners.  Thank you for meeting and exceeding all of our expectations!”

Process

Life Productions, Inc. met with the CEO and second generation owner of Frank Mayer & Associates. We presented a plan for archiving FMA’s old photos and media while allowing us to produce a video to celebrate their company’s growth and legacy. Life Productions of Milwaukee composed and tailored interview questions based on the feedback from a follow-up meeting that included the president and other employees of the company. We also helped develop criteria for choosing the interview candidates. Once the candidates were chosen, tape dates were scheduled.

How Life Productions, Inc. Completed Project

Life Productions went onsite and taped interviews of past and present employees and second and third generation owner/president. Video footage was captured during the interview tape date(s) of the plant and working staff. Previous to the tape dates, Life Productions captured footage of brunch that featured retirees and long time employees of FMA. Once all footage was logged and captured, Life Productions began the edit process; first building an unscripted narrative from the collective voice of all interviewed. Footage was then added to support the sound bites. Finally, graphics were layered to give the video its finishing touch.

Life Productions met with the second and third generation owners and a select few to preview. The video was well received and following the addition of footage of several more employees, the video mastered.
