Process

Life Productions, Inc. met with the developer of the Power-Up Stabilizer to determine their video production needs. Assistive Resources needed a video marketing tool to show therapists and clients the therapeutic benefits of the Power-Up Stabilizer for children and young adults with moderate to severe motor disorders such as cerebral palsy. A variety of questions were asked to determine the specifics of their product, their target audience, the message they wanted to have delivered and the video’s intended purpose. Through supplied worksheets, Life Productions, Inc. helped them articulate their message, select interview candidates and create a timeline for project completion. After determining their video production needs, Life Productions Inc. toured the facilities to identify sites for interviewing. It was important to find a quiet and large enough environment to conduct the product demonstrations and client and therapist interviews. Assistive Resources coordinated the taping schedule for the demonstration and testimonial interviews at a physical therapy clinic and local school. Life Productions Inc. of Milwaukee supplied preparation forms that gave advice on what interviewees should wear, sample questions and what one could expect from the interview process.

How Life Productions, Inc. Completed Project

Life Productions went on-site with their crew to tape product demonstration and testimonial interviews in high definition resolution. Assistive Resources provided digital graphics of the their logo and archived video of previous product demonstrations. Once all footage was logged and captured, Life Productions began the edit process; first building an unscripted narrative from the collective voice of all interviewed. Then a script was written to enhance and support the video demonstrations and testimonials. Once the script was approved, the voice over was taped and added. In addition, video footage, titles and graphics were layered to support the sound bites, enhance the message and give it a finishing touch.

Life Productions Inc. of Milwaukee presented video to Assistive Resources for review. Alterations were made to the video, and once the video was approved, the process of mastering and packaging the final draft of the high definition video was put into action.
